Parkhotel Emstaler Hohe Genussrestaurant Habichtswald in Bad Emstal

A friend and I stayed at this beautiful hotel at the end of February this year. We had booked the Red Riding Hood package. Directly in front of the house are free parking spaces and a park that invites you to take a walk. The front garden is very clean and beautifully designed. At the reception we were warmly welcomed with a delicious drink and the wonderful lady at the reception explained the next few days to us. After we moved into our spacious, very clean room with a separate bathroom and balcony, we went to our HotStone massage. A dream! Afterwards we visited the sauna world - very small but exhausted down to the last detail. Harmonious music, relaxation areas inside and outside and not overcrowded at all! The Frau Holle bathing ritual, which we had also booked, is really to be recommended. You can read more about it on the homepage. It was very, very relaxing. The food was fantastic! Both the breakfast buffet and the buffet on the 1st evening as well as our 4-course menu on the 2nd evening were unforgettable! If you like to be pampered, this is the right place for you! There is absolutely nothing to complain about! It was pure relaxation ... Conclusion: We are 2 mothers who just wanted to escape everyday life for a weekend. We would not have thought that we could switch off so much. It was really an all-round magical, relaxing time!

The hotel is beautifully located, you can come out of the house and go for a walk in the spa gardens. The staff is very friendly and always ready to fulfill requests. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. We liked it very much and we will be back.

Nice cozy hotel, fabulous atmosphere ... there is a sauna, a lot of health benefits. Clean, good food. I liked the park, very beautiful .. The air is clean ... I especially liked the medicinal herbs, everything is signed, everything is clear .. the rose park is magnificent ... Wonderful resort area ...

The hotel is in a nice, quiet area. The staff are very nice and the food is great. A coherent hygiene concept is implemented.

Good offer for a short stay. Service could be a little more courteous - we had to ask a few things. Bathroom a bit old-fashioned. Overall, however, a pleasant stay and the bathhouse was very nice.

Food was good. Dessert too. Terrace is really great. But staff left a lot to be desired, really very inattentive. Still 4 stars because the atmosphere and the food were right.

We stayed there and were very satisfied. We were received very nicely and everything was explained in detail. Even tips for the nearby excursions were included, plus you got a booklet and a ticket where you had free admission. Very nice. We used the summer toboggan run, Erdersee, etc. great Back to the hotel, the service was great, the room was great, the food was great, the location was great, the sauna area was also nice but definitely too small for so many people. Definitely recommended ;-)

We were from September 15th to 17th, 2020 with the "Schneeweißchen & Rosenrot" in this great hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, the rooms clean, the sauna recommended and the breakfast a dream. Overall, a great hotel and a nice stay. Gladly again ...

We expected more comfort in a 4 star hotel ..., it started with the balcony door, it really has to be cleaned, then on the balcony a separation from the other rooms would be very pleasant .., you can't move freely move, let alone leave the balcony door open. The bathroom is in need of renovation ..., the shower head is totally calcified, the shower tray as well, and the tiles are definitely from the 80s ..., j we have already paid € 30 more per person for the comfort room, what it was not justified, unfortunately. With the welcome drink you could ask what you would like and not just spend something, there are people who are allergic to certain foods ... The staff in the restaurant is very helpful and courteous and the food is also excellent ...

I came with my mom for a week of wellness and tranquility and this hotel is just beautifully located in a spa park. There you could go for a nice walk and there is a beautifully landscaped rose garden. There were benches to sit on and you could sit on them. Didn't notice any moss or just didn't notice it. The place Sand is actually very deserted in the evening, but we were with a car and went to eat in Fritzlar (super great place) or Kassel, or Naumburg on the way (really great and original Italian there !!!) Thanks to the “My Card”, which we got for free, you could see and do a lot of great things and got free entry. Our room was fine, the bathroom a bit small, but okay, but a bit noisy in the morning because we were close to the kitchen and storage rooms. Unfortunately, that was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was very rich and tasty and very well organized despite Corona. Special praise and greetings to Ms. Puntschuh, who was always so active with us with tips and information (insider tip Fritzlar was really brilliant). She is really the best there. Mr. and Mrs. Holzinger also sweetened our many mornings with their loving and open manner. The bathhouse with sauna is beautifully laid out and we felt very comfortable, there was hardly anyone there. We liked it very much and can recommend the hotel.

Bad Emstal has to be denied the bad name. I was there from 4.9. until 9/7/20. The thermal bath has been closed for almost 3 years, which I only found out on site! The place Sand is neglected, a restaurant is no longer available! I only saw an ice cream parlor and a Turkish takeout! In the Kurpark itself, the Kurhaus and the adjacent dining facilities are closed. In the spa park itself the paths are mossy, even the benches are dirty and mossy, so you can't sit down! Public transport is not available even to Fritzlar! I was shocked that I had to pay tourist tax for this place! In my eyes this is even punishable! I hope that my opinion will be read often so that other spa guests don't be fooled by the Internet! Never again Parkhotel in Bad Emstal! Petra Vehling!

First the positive, very friendly and courteously nice bathhouse, optically beautiful food that tastes good, there is also an alternative if the given selection does not appeal. Rather country house style in the restaurant. In the bathhouse there was no staff and all the loungers were occupied by towels or bags, so that my rest periods were on uncomfortable chairs, but that was more due to the guests (egomania is modern). The room (a standard room) was tidy, unfortunately the bathroom was badly designed and the floor was dirty. (That is the only point that really shouldn't be, sticky floor with long hair on it) My 196 cm husband bumped into the sink and the lamps attached to the bed protruded too much into the comfort zone. Strange but not uncomfortable for me, the familiar tone of voice, "my loved ones", could also seem aloof. But it was nice to see how well and smoothly the operators and staff run their hotel. Unfortunately, they couldn't prevent the candlelight dinner from creeping into the canteen atmosphere. All in all, the high-quality service, first-class food that keeps the doors open for people who otherwise couldn't afford it, thanks to really inexpensive package deals. We will be back.

We had booked an arrangement and were very satisfied so far. The breakfast buffet was very well organized and the evening menus were very tasty (even if you have to plan plenty of time here). The nearby park is really very beautiful and ideal for a short morning walk.

Wonderful hotel with extremely friendly staff. The wellness area is great and the kitchen excellent. We always like to come back.

Location of the hotel, food and service great. Apartment was very spacious, but the terrace was not really usable, as it was very dark and uneven despite the light. The cleaning of the apartment also left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, toilet paper was not refilled, so we had to get it ourselves at reception. Otherwise we were satisfied. However, in our opinion, the apartment is not worth four stars.

Nice service, very tasty food, good arrangements. The rooms are partly older, but are being renovated / renewed. We had a great time 👍🙂

Great hotel, nice quiet location! Staff very friendly and the food was delicious! The only stupid thing was room too warm!

The hotel is well renovated. However, the rooms are quite small. A friend's room had some technical defects that could not be remedied in the short term. Another room was not available. The restaurant has very good food and a very good breakfast. The wellness area is surprisingly versatile and modern. For prices are for what is offered at a high level. Overall, the hotel is still a recommendation.
